Store Front Studio

The Store Front Studio features a large table with chairs and has its own dedicated entrance on Fernwood Rd. It has large windows and is suitable so a small group meeting or workshop. This space can be used in addition to the Paul Phillips Hall during a Market or other larger events. All monies generated by rentals go into supporting FCAA operations.

Features of this space include:

  • Wheelchair accessible

  • Ability to seat up to 12 individuals

  • A large table

  • Washroom usually available in Paul Phillips Hall

Our current rate for rental is $10 per hour and free for qualifing non-profits. This space may not be available while events are happening in Paul Phillips Hall due to noise. Rentals are allowed during the day and evening with a maximum end time of 11:00PM for cessation of events.

The Store Front Studio is adjacent to the Paul Phillips Hall, so please be aware that some events in the hall will be noisy. Please let us know if this will be a factor for your event.

We required either credit card information or $100.00 as a damage deposit.

Accessibility information:

  • This is an indoor venue.
  • There is street parking surrounding the venue on nearby streets.
  • It is on the number 22 bus route.
  • The venue is accessible by wheelchair and other mobility aids. The Store Front Studio is on the main floor.
  • There is no automatic door button on the main door.
  • There is small incline / ramp at main entrance that is tiled , can be very slippery when it rains for manual chairs/ canes / walkers.
  • There are no washrooms in the Store Front Studio. However, washrooms are available in Paul Phillips Hall when the space is open.

Fernwood Art Stroll

Participating artists and makers on the 2026 Fernwood Art Stroll will be showing samples of their work in the Storefront Gallery through May.

This free and family friendly studio tour will be on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31 from 11 to 4. This is your chance to visit Fernwood artists and their studios (and often their beautiful gardens!) and chat to them about their work and processes.
